Druids Glen opened in 1995 and has already hosted some of golf's top events.

• Druids Glen was the home of the Irish Open for 4 years from 1996 to 1999.
• In 1999 record Irish Open crowds witnessed teenager Sergio Garcia from Spain shoot a final round 64 to capture his first professional victory. 
• Druids Glen hosted the Seve Trophy in 2002. This event saw the leading Tour Professionals of Great Britain & Ireland play their counterparts from Continental Europe. 
• In 2008, Druids Heath hosted the Irish PGA Championship.
